V 0.1c released (lots of small additions and bug fixes)


This release has a whole bunch of small stuff, including little features and bug fixes, as well as adding super fast resolution, which was a bit more of a project, but when several players suggested it it clearly felt like a really good idea so I wanted to find a way to put it in.

The next release will have more content added - I'm working on randomly generated dungeon adventures, as well as starting to build a more overarching plot.

New Features

Programmed quick resolution for hero actions, so the game flows more smoothly. This was difficult!
Added timed events in combats, so (for instance) more monsters can turn up halfway through a fight

New Monsters

Added the Doppleganger, a complex monster that tries to strip you then touch your skin to take on your form

Living world

First descriptions based on player avatar characteristics (I did this as part of writing Dopplegangers, cos it felt much hotter to have them described in terms of your own body when they attack you)

Minor Changes

Character create screen now has label for name box
Energy gets fully refreshed after a fight (so it isn't the right thing to keep one goblin alive while you stall until at max energy)
Sidebar updates instantly when you release a companion
Fully trained companions now update their companion type to "Pet"
You can now leave the citadel to start an adventure, rather than having to restart the game
Some text tidying in combat passages

Bugs

Fixed "can not find closing tag for <<nobr>>" When companion being trained by monsters
Fixed dispirited condition triggering in weird ways (this is what made the tutorial impossible to finish)
Mara now fires 3 bolts, as intended
Permanent conditions are now separated properly, let's not talk about how stupid my previous attempt was
Fixed bad conditional expression in if clause for monsters Binding you
Fixed missing ) in argument list when tentacled horrors try to regenerate
Fixed undefined chance for tentacled horrors who are low on tentacles to extrude new ones
Tentacles created during the fight now drop 0 gold, not "undefined"
"Being fucked" "Being fingered" "cumming" now should remove correctly at end of fight
Fixed typo - monster will now "use cursed collar" instead of crashing the game by trying to "used cursed collar" - this is one case where you really really don't want the "d" :p
Fixed "helpless exhibitionist" description not displaying
Wrote sidebar description for "naturally subby" condition
A monster that auto-dies (wither or crumble) while fingering or fucking you should now stop
Fixed running out of descriptions as your companion gets completely trained by monsters

Reported Bugs I can't reproduce:

The wrong text in "Go to Hogs Rest" or "Go straight to church" on "A Strange Affliction" quest (seems like text from a previous part of the adventure).  - I can't reproduce this, for me the adventure always shows the correct text (5 or 6 tries). Will check more.
